Inaugural Flight - November 15, 2008

• Depart Columbia on USAir Charter @ 8:30 am
• Arrive Reagan National Airport @ 10:00
• Proceed to WWll Memorial via motor coach. Remain at Memorial for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Presentation of American and South Carolina Flags at South Carolina Pillar
• Lunch
• Visit Viet Nam and Korean Veterans Memorials and Lincoln Memorial
• Visit Iwo Jima Memorial
• Coaches will proceed to Arlington Cemetery with a stop at The Tomb of The Unknown Soldier. At 4:00 pm we will view the changing of the guard.
• Board coaches for airport - Leave DC at 6:00 pm, arrive Columbia 7:30pm

Plans are being made for additional flights in Spring 2009 to insure all veterans that apply can visit THEIR memorial.
