Aiken Memorial Day Parade

Join the Aiken Jaycees and several generous sponsors for a Memorial Day parade Saturday, May 23, 11 a.m., in downtown Aiken.  A special place in the parade is designated for WWII, Korean and Vietnam veterans, so we're trying to find as many as possible in the area. The Jaycees are also partnering with the Department of Defense to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Vietnam War.

The theme of the parade is:  “A Grateful Aiken County Thanks and Honors You.” Don’t let your families and friends miss out on the fun!  Encourage them to enter or to mark their calendars to be on the sidewalks of Laurens and Park Streets recognizing members of our Armed Services as they march by during the parade!

To participate in the parade, complete the application online or download the form at and mail it to the Aiken Jaycees, P.O. Box 707, Aiken, SC 29802.  For any questions please call 803-761-7081.
